MISSION STATEMENT:

ADA/VETS is a non profit organization which defends the rights of qualified individuals, who were excluded from mainstream society due to their disability. This includes the workplace, school, and any accommodation afforded the non-disabled population of American society.

ADA provides a variety of resources that assist the disabled individual feel included in American Society, when by birth this individual was born into a disability, or has become newly disabled due to recent circumstances.

The goal of ADA/VETS is to achieve equal treatment for disabled individuals from birth to death, fair and equal treatment and access under the law. This organization has a moral and Christian obligation to make available whatever assistance is needed.

ADA/VETS will attempt to secure the entitlement of Constitutional provisions mandated by the  Department of Justice-14th Amendment the Constitution (Americans with Disabilities Act) for people with disabilities.  As per 42 USC Sec. 12182(a): (a) General rule No individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation by any person who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation.

ADA/VETS realizes that the discrimination and/or the lack of accommodation of disabled individuals still exists. The organization has generated a network from state to state to ultimately guarantee equality where disability is concerned. ADA/VETS will do this by inclusion of other disabled Americans joining the network doing what they can involving  the lack of adequate care for disabled children in Foster care.

ADA/VETS has advocated for families in  the Board of Education mediation cases, where services have been, increased, expedited and rendered for school age children with disabilities. The organization is in constant communication with the office of the President of the United States, state and local officials holding each accountable. SAG (Screen Actor’s Guild)-ensuring that disabled actors are provided employment opportunities and appropriate accommodations.  ADA/VETS provides oversight and is the watchdog of  ADA Law ( Americans with Disabilities Act). The organization advocates to ensure that the ADA is fully implemented into the disabled individual’s lifestyle, so that the opportunity of what life has to offer is guaranteed, as it is written in the Constitution-LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE OF HAPPINESS FOR ALL.

ADA/VETS has developed activities for those who want to participate in Christian activities such as outings, camps and functions.  The organization has provided access and inclusion in these activities for adults, adolescents, teens and children. ADA/VETS works toward educating the general public to realize that disabled individuals and
